Dodgers sign free-agent INF Carroll

LOS ANGELES (AP)—The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a $3.85 million,two-year contract with free-agent infielder Jamey Carroll(notes).
The team said it finalized the deal Friday.
Carroll spent the last two seasons with Cleveland in the AL after playing inthe NL with Montreal, Washington and Colorado from 2002-07.
He hit .276 with 53 RBIs in 93 games last season for the Indians.
